Namejet sold the following domains in the past 3 days.

MusicStudio was last sold in Dec., 2008 at the NY Traffic auction.   Daniel Negari was the buyer.  (The whois becomes confusing later in 2009.)

wiy.com was originally owned by BuyDomains since 2003.  Oliver Hoger purchased it in Nov., 2013.  Most likely as  a ‘bulk purchase’ transaction.

MusicStudio.com  $11,100 7/3/2014
WIY.com   $9,600 7/3/2014
Loans.info   $7,555 7/1/2014

Tiaoqing.com   $4,188 7/3/2014
ChildWatch.com   $2,369 7/1/2014

Interesting side note regarding the .org.   Oliver Hoger purchased MusicStudio.org from BuyDomains in March, 2011.

musicstudio.org $510 4/3/2012
musicstudio.org $460 10/17/2011

UK theater owners are concerned about the pirating of newly released movies by Google glass wearers.

Google glass have been available in the U.S. for over a year but were just released last month in the UK.

Presently, the most used items to record newly released movies in theaters are compact cameras and smartphones.

Google glass have many limitations in recording for a long period of time.  But, the UK Cinema Association is concerned that technology will quickly make the Google glass capable of recording 2 to 3 hours.   And, they want to be in front of this new pirating threat.

Google glass users say that when the Google glass is on, they emit light from the right lens.    So, it would be obvious when they are turned on.

It will be interesting to see if Google glass will be banned from all theater, sports and live performances in the future.

Numerical domains are extremely hot.  (high demand, scarcity and rising prices.)

Sedo announced today they will be auctioning premium numerical domains in September.

So, we thought we would give our readers a quick overview of the meaning of numbers in the Chinese society.

Numbers for centuries have played an important role in the Chinese culture.

Numbers are part of the daily decision making and activities in the life of the Chinese.    Having or using the best numbers is necessary such as –  phone numbers, license plates, apartment  numbers and floors,  street addresses,  dates for important ceremonies, dates for grand opening of a business  and also Feng Shui.

Here is a brief list for reference.

1 – considered a good number.  Has complex meanings especially with other numbers.   It is considered in the same mindset as westerners.   #1.  First place – winner.

2 – considered a good number.  The repeating of numbers means double happiness.  (99)  Items may be purchased in pairs or displayed in pairs for good luck.

3 –  is considered a lucky number.  Related to such topics as ‘birth’.

policeman1Paypal was informed by Duo Security (cyber security company) that there is a way to bypass the Paypal two step authentication process.    That is the process of sending a code to the users mobile phone so the user can enter the data into the website to gain access to the account.    Up to now, it has been very rare for the two step authentication process to be compromised.  It is the same process people use with their bank, gmail and facebook.

I am very surprised the mainstream media has not mentioned this recently discovered flaw.

As I learn more, I will pass it along.
