It was reported on CNBC today the internet is a $ 1.5 trillion industry. And, it’s value will increase to $ 4 trillion in the very near future.
The first domain registered in 1985 was Symbolics.com. Verisign reported there are over 85 million domains (.com & .net) registered today.
Verisign will be hosting a forum in Washington, DC tomorrow honoring the 25th birthday of the internet.
