UK theater owners are concerned about the pirating of newly released movies by Google glass wearers.
Google glass have been available in the U.S. for over a year but were just released last month in the UK.
Presently, the most used items to record newly released movies in theaters are compact cameras and smartphones.
Google glass have many limitations in recording for a long period of time. But, the UK Cinema Association is concerned that technology will quickly make the Google glass capable of recording 2 to 3 hours. And, they want to be in front of this new pirating threat.
Google glass users say that when the Google glass is on, they emit light from the right lens. So, it would be obvious when they are turned on.
It will be interesting to see if Google glass will be banned from all theater, sports and live performances in the future.
