The DomainFest Ft. Lauderdale meeting May 13, 2010 which was outlined here included a 3 hour domain auction conducted by Moniker/Snapnames.
Except for a few internet bidding problems yesterday which were quickly corrected , the auction was a huge success.
Dating.com sold for $ 1.75 mil. The domain transaction included trademarks, phone number and a few related domains. And, the strong keyword domain – BoardGames.com which sold for the bargain price of $ 450k.
Many of the premium domains received bids but they did not reach the minimum reserve price. The domains not sold yesterday will be included in a silent auction which ends May 20th. The extended auction includes over 700 domains.
